Yes! We gladly welcome new patients. We love providing quality dental care to new and existing patients. We look forward to meeting you!
We know making time for dental appointments can be challenging. That’s why we offer appointments as early as 7:30am. We also offer Friday appointments. Contact our office, and we will find a time that fits your busy schedule!
Absolutely! Please let us know if there are any special arrangements you or a loved one require. We are happy to accommodate you in any way we can.
We understand that many of our patients are fearful of the dentist. We will work with you to develop a plan of personalized care to ensure you are comfortable and anxiety-free during treatment. In our office, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and conscious sedation (oral medicine) to help patients feel more relaxed. We can also make arrangements for IV sedation as needed.
A scheduled appointment is a commitment of time between you and our team. We respect the importance of your time and work very hard to schedule appointments that accommodate the busy scheduling needs of our patients. In return, we ask that patients make every effort not to change reserved dental appointments.
We request any modifications to your appointment be made at least 24 hours in advance. A charge of $50 will be applied for cancelled or missed appointments without 24-hour prior notification.
For your first appointment, please bring your completed new patient forms, a photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), and an eagerness to learn more about your dental health!
If you want to utilize insurance benefits, your insurance information must be received by our office at least one business day prior to your appointment.
We are honored that you’ve entrusted us to care for your smile! Dr. Luse and her team are committed to providing compassionate service and the highest quality of care. We will address any oral health concerns, explain your treatment options, and create a plan customized to your unique needs.
Please call our office at 817-285-5371 to schedule your appointment. You can also request an appointment online, and we will contact you to reserve a time. We are excited to see you!
We are excited to welcome you to our practice! At your first visit, we will start by reviewing your medical and dental history, and we will ask you about any current concerns. Our team will take the necessary radiographs (x-rays) and photos to identify any dental problems and to create a baseline for future dental visits. We will evaluate the health of your teeth, gums, and existing dental work to ensure they are free of damage. We will also perform a head and neck exam, including an oral cancer screening, to rule out potential abnormalities.
Depending on your specific needs, you will receive care from Dr. Luse or one of our dental hygienists. During a routine (preventative) cleaning, we remove plaque and tartar buildup from the surfaces of your teeth and along your gum line. We also polish your teeth and floss between them to remove any remaining plaque and debris. We may recommend a fluoride treatment to lower your risk of future tooth decay.
We will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan for long-term oral health. We will also discuss any current needs or preventive measures required to keep your smile in tip-top shape!
For most patients, we recommend twice-yearly evaluations and cleanings; however, some patients with gum disease or those at a higher risk of developing dental problems need more frequent appointments. Our team will evaluate your unique needs and recommend the ideal frequency of visits to maintain your healthy smile!
Absolutely! It is very important to care for your oral health during your pregnancy. Please contact our office with any questions before your appointment. We want you to be as comfortable as possible.
We recommend brushing your teeth with a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste at least twice daily. We find electric toothbrushes are more efficient and effective than manual ones. You should floss thoroughly between your teeth at least once a day. Maintaining proper oral hygiene practices will lower your risk of tooth decay and gum disease. If you have any questions about oral hygiene, please ask! We are happy to review different techniques and make suggestions tailored for you at each appointment.

Even if you don't have any symptoms of dental problems, routine dental evaluations and cleanings are crucial for maintaining optimal oral health. Routine evaluations allow us to detect problems in the earliest stages before symptoms develop. This helps you to avoid additional tooth decay or progression of gum disease. Maintaining proper oral hygiene at home and keeping up with your routine dental visits are the best ways to promote a healthy smile for life!
For most patients, we recommend twice-yearly evaluations and cleanings; however, it is important to schedule an appointment between routine visits if you have signs or symptoms of a dental problem. These include tooth pain or sensitivity, red or bleeding gums, damaged teeth or dental work, facial pain or swelling, a sore that won't heal, or any other concerns. Dr. Luse will promptly evaluate your condition and recommend the best course of treatment.
If you have a dental emergency, we will do everything we can to provide a same-day appointment.
